Of all the contemporary dance labels to have popped up in recent years, no label can really lay claim to possessing the uncut rawness and spirit of record labels of yesteryear. ‘American Noise’ collects together a hefty range of out-of-print vinyl tracks and exclusives, surveying some of the label’s earlier output from Steve Moore, Legowelt, Terekke and Two Dogs in a House, to new and unreleased material from new kids on the block Delroy Edwards, Mutant Beat Dance’s Beau Wanzer and Torn Hawk, amongst others.
